Valves

Different types of valves

Valves can be used on board of dredging vessels or on land. Different circumstances determine which valve should be used. The consistency of the slurry, working pressures, environmental conditions, the position of the valve but even maximum dimensions, weight or logistic limitations can force adjustments of the base-design.

Our experience in this field enable us to supply you with the right valve for the right project, whether it is a valve from our standard range, or a customized version, engineered in consultation with you. Our longtime experience made our valves
“built-to-purpose”, both the types belonging to our standard range, as well as the
custom-built ones, for we included over 50 years of customer feedback in our products.

Shore valves

These valves are used on shore. They are robust enough for rough handling and they are easy to transport. The shore valves enable the closing of the discharge pipes while maintaining pre-designed pressure.

Dredge valves

Our dredge valves, also known as rubber ring valves, are used on dredgers. They stand out because of their long life span, easy maintenance and low weight. The various parts are separately replaceable and reusable, making our valve sustainable. Hydraulic components are suited for the use of biodegradable oil. Our sealing rings are suitable for abrasive applications.

Regulating valves

Our regulating valves are used on dredgers. The gate can be controlled in such a way that the flow can be regulated. By controlling the flow the dredging process is optimized. Our standard regulating valves are equipped with gates and linings that are made of wear-resistant steel or wear-resistant white cast iron.
