In addition to its own machining and welding departments, Matecs also has an assembly department. The experienced team of technicians has ample capacity (in terms of space, tools, and crane capacity) for large assembly and workshop tasks.
Assembly, construction, repair, and overhaul are daily tasks for this team, whether it concerns our own products (such as valves and bearing blocks) or products from our clients. These tasks are often performed in-house, but on-site work is also possible.
Our clients know how to find us for a wide variety of repair and overhaul tasks. Examples include repairing or replacing defective or worn-out parts, as well as complete overhauls of parts or structures and so-called rework.
In our machine factory, parts/products are restored to their original dimensions according to drawings, using various techniques and metalworking processes. We are able, for example, to apply different coating thicknesses to various steel qualities and higher-alloyed materials by means of spraying and welding. If no drawing is available, the product can be measured in-house, and a new drawing can be created.
We repair or overhaul according to a standard procedure. During disassembly, findings are recorded and documented in a damage report, and based on this, a repair proposal is made. The damage is then repaired, or components are overhauled or replaced. If desired, the final inspection can be carried out by an independent certification body.
