REgulating Valves

Regulating valves

Our regulating valves are used wherever you need to control the flow of an abrasive slurry. The need to do so can for example be in dredging, but also in mining applications. Therefore you may find our valves on board of dredging vessels, but also in waste management or any other slurry transport. The design of this type of valve enables you to regulate the flow of the slurry. By doing so the slurry transportation process is optimized, thus saving time and costs. All our design are checked by using FEM strength calculations.

Our standard product

Our standard regulating valves are equipped with gates and linings that are made of wear-resistant steel or wear-resistant white cast iron. The flange connection of this valve is based on metric dimensions. Any number of valves can be delivered, so if you only need one you are at the right address, but should you need multiple valves: no problem for us. Conservation of the valve is done by a two-layer base coating, but any top coating is possible.

Customized to your needs

When the limited space or position of the valve requires customization, our team can advice you on possible solutions. Also if your system is based on imperial dimensions, or when the abrasive slurry requires specific adjustments. We used over 50 years of feedback of various customers to optimize our product, and have built them for many different applications.

Production proces

The entire production of our dredge valves, from design to finished product, takes place at our own facility in the Netherlands. Welding is done by certified welders and final machining is done under the same roof.

Wear parts

The parts of our regulating valves that are most prone to wear and tear (i.e. the liner and the gate) can be replaced easily. Every valve is marked with its unique production number, thus making it easy to order the correct spare parts.
